This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Not using it already, but I don't think there's any reason it shouldn't work given that it uses the same optical drive connector as your current optical drive. You might need to remove that little bracket at the back and secure the whole thing some other way, but compatibility shouldn't be an issue... a lot of people have done these kind of things to other machines.
