I have tried numerous of times to remove it and I get this message.
I tried making a copy of this same file and see if it will replace it, still doens't work. How do I delete this thing? any ideas?

I have attach a screen shot in word because that's the only way I know how to upload the file.

You can always try running your computer in safe mode. Then try deleting it.

Try this program, Unlocker, it's always worked for me when I couldn't delete a file. Download & install it, then right click on the file, go to "Unlocker", then unlock the file in the window that pops up and delete it. There's pictures on the homepage to help, it's pretty simple though.

Or renaming the file and restarting and deleting, or a combination of instructions.

I would also scan your computer with a virus scanner. Sometimes files like those dont want to be removed for a reason.

Or a disk check, because it could be file corruption.

    I tried safemode before.
It will not allow me to rename the file. I tried that as well.
I scanned it, no virus. I did that the other day.

I will try the disk check and unlocker.

Ok I tried everything on here.. nothing is working. :(
I have thought about repartitioning but I have files and links saved from work.

You could try making a new account, and then if that works (the file is not on that desktop), delete your current account from that account, reboot, and then create a new account with your usual name. Hope this helps. :)

If all else fails, delete the entire partition from your hard drive, that should do it.

Unlocker is the best utility... so simple to use for such annoyances. :)

Well... You could create a small partition and move it to that partition then delete the partition. Well, that is if you can move the file.
