Just tell us the game and your specs. Unless the game is "underage child molester III" then be open about it if you want a good answer. Even if it is, we won't judge you.

Some games lock you out due to cpu speed, there is an application out there that will work, someone referenced it while using an eee. Basically, you can turn down settings so any game will wok, just depends upon its quality.

I don't thiknk that being .2GHZ behind will not let you play the game..You could still play it.

Just in case, remember that if the minimum is something like 2.0 Ghz Pent M and you have a 1.8 Ghz C2D, the .2 difference doesn't matter. In other words, check to see what Processor is under the minimum requirements.

Having a lot of Vram wont make much of a difference in gaming, ITs the video card quality that matters.

What game? If it has lots of character calculations/AI calculatiosmn, then it might lag... That is if you are able to install the game at all..

Remember you are talking "minimum" and trust me the manufacturer does mean minimum, so yes game play likely will suffer. But as said above what CPU are they talking about? If not stated think P4 as default. And running less does not necessarily mean it won't run just not satisfactorily, stuttering and freezes likely.

The video card is a nvidia 7950 gtx 512 mg graphics card and the requirement is only 256 and ram is half and the minimum is .1 GHz behind what you need. The reason i cant tell you what game is it isent out yet if it was i would gladly tell you what game it is. Meh its a game called white gold and it is just 1 or 2 GHz behind and i need to know if it will work

Also remember that laptop CPUs have lower clocks than their desktop counterparts, but are similar in performance. For instance, my 1.6 ghz C2D beats a 3ghz P4 even in single-thread apps. So don't worry if a game says "3.2 Ghz min". Your C2D will run it whitout a hitch.

Dude, it will work fine. A core 2 duo will be more than powerful enough to play any game.
Your gaming experience is pretty much based on your graphics card. If you have a decent gpu, than gaming wil be decent. If you have a cheap gpu than your games are going to be really laggy.

You just need to pass minimal requirements, which you have more than enough.. so it will play just fine. Games are mostly GPU dependent, specially for an FPS game
