    Hello,

I clicked just a little harder on my touchpad left button, and I heard a crack right under it, maybe something broke...
now it is working properly, but it's more loose than the right one which is well fixed and firm.

what do you think i can do to fix this?
my notebook has 6 months of age..

    Thanks.

If u have warranty , send it in to fix... most probably u'll have to replace the whole touchpad area?

I just went through this on my ex-wife's HP a couple of months ago and they did NOT honor the warranty on it. HP wanted to charge over $400 so we declined and had it shipped back. Once the warranty runs out I'll open it up and fix it myself. Someone on the Toshiba Support Forums said that Toshiba replaced theirs under warranty though so who knows. The only way to know for sure is to call them, and even then they might change their mind once they get it at the repair depot.

Maybe one of the little clips for the button broke or got loose? Like other I suggest opening up the laptop and see what the problem is
