I'm considering buying a Samsung Series 7 15.6" laptop, but I want to replace the primary HDD with an SSD. I'm buying the cheaper version without ExpressCache. I want the SSD for both speed and for no moving parts.

Does anyone have directions on how to replace the primary HDD on a Samsung Series 7? Is the HDD a standard 1.8 incher? Is the case easy to get open?

(And while I'm asking, does anyone know if the newest Series 7 have the space bar issue fixed?)

    Thanks!

    Alexander
