    Hey guys, do you know any programs that can fix bad sectors. From what i understand, there are extra sectors on the hard drive you can relocate the bad ones to..

    On modern drives, sector reallocation is handled by firmware, you would have to have a factory test jig to do it yourself.

    If a drive is out of spare sectors and starts to show hard errors, it's time to replace the drive before it fails completely.
