Hi, If I have a laptop with windows vista home premium, and it has a section for 'recorded videos', there must be a way to do it. What are my options?

For one, I've heard of usb tv tuners, but these are just like antennas, right, and won't get very many channels?? Is there something I can hook up to my laptop that would allow me to get cable channels?

    Where are you?

You can get USB TV tuners. These decode the TV signal into something which plays on screen.

In UK I have this Freecom tuner which works with the digital TV signal and gives more channels than I can count. However, it (and any other similar tuner) will need connecting to a proper antenna unless you live next to a transmitter (same as a normal TV).
