    Hello all,

I'm having trouble finding any help on removing my internal ultra ATA hard drive from my aluminum powerbook g4. I have the system completely opened up and have been looking for ideal ways to take out the hard drive, but I haven't see any that make sense. The hard drive appears to simply be 'plugged in' on one side, but there isn't enough room on the other to simply 'unplug' it and lift it out. Also, I have read elsewhere that I need to disconnect the orange IDE tape from the drive by lifting up on it. Well, I have gently lifted up on this piece and it doesn't seem to be doing anything?

    Anyone? Much thanks...

Great. This seems to be a good manual. Thanks.
