Can anoyone please confirm if you can upgrade the RAM and SSD on an Asus Zenbook UX32A?

I've been on YouTube and one posting suggets that only the only Asus UX model that is upgradable is the UX32VD (and that therefore the UX32A is not upgradable) (see Asus Zenbook Prime: SSD & RAM Upgrade - YouTube at 1min 46 sec). Can anyone please confirm if this is correct or, even better, if you've managed to upgrade the RAM and/or SSD on a UX32A yourself.

    Thank very much indeed.

From what I've read, the memory is easily upgradeable, but one of the DIMMS is soldered so you're limited in your upgrade. The SSD is a proprietary form factor, so you may have trouble sourcing parts.

Try seeing if the ASUS forum has better answers.

I came here looking for the same info, as I also saw that Youtube clip. I can confirm that I was able to upgrade the RAM to 10GB. However, I'm hoping for confirmation about the SSD before trying it myself.

    Did you ever try it?
