Okay So im trying to get the corsair v128 but everywhere is selling them for either $280+. Cept newegg but out of stock till july. So i looked in microcenter they have a few refurbished for $140. The only problem it has a 30day warranty :(. I asked microcenter if i include them they said no has to have at least 90day. Then i asked squaretrade they said they will have warranty on it. So ima be spending around $170 for the ssd with 2 year warranty on it. you guys think i should get it? or wait till july when it gets back in stock?

Why exactly do you want the V128? It's not a bad SSD but indilinx doesn't have the best track record.

I suggest Kingston V+100 and Samsung 470. Both quite power efficient too.

Kingston probably the most power efficient. The older Kingston V+ (SNV325/2) is a good choice too, probably a bit cheaper.

PS. Corsair Nova V128 is not a bad drive either. I just read that Indilinx products don't have the best reliability rates. 30 day warranty doesn't look very promising either.

    Actually,

The Kingston V+ 100 is the least power efficient drive out there (very aggressive power consumption - great for RAID setups though...).

Also, very high WA factor too.

If you're going to get something crappy, why not just get new crap instead of refurbished crap. Kingston 128GB for $165 after rebate.

samsung 470 series is a good choice if you want it now,,otherwise corsair v128. I run a new samsung 470 series very impressive, no problems with it, Virsus scanner and other drive intensive applications complete very quickly. Buy new and get full manufacturers warranty.

    Cheers
