    Morning all
Here we go. Trying to hook up a kt&c super wdr ccd camera to my sony vaio ar-190g. When I go thru the media player in the setup area it will show up in the s-video selection and show that the camera is working. But to finish the set up it does not reconize the ir for a remote, so it takes me back to square 1 no video.
Is there an easy fix??? Will be hooking this baby up to my 12" telescope for some way out pics.
Will I need a special program?? Or could it be a simple operator error on my part.
Any comments would be greatly welcome.

You are trying to use the camera 'tethered'?

You will need a specific program for that. Windows does not support that 'out of the box'.

(I'm assuming that 'kt&c super wdr ccd camera' is some kind of point and shoot, btw).

    Good luck.

Thanks again. The camera isn't a point and shoot, it's a digital video camera. Will start checking into a video program.
    Thank you
