I have an Alienware 17 R1. I wanted to install an SSD into the second hard drive bay, but you need an an adapter (interposer?) to connect the SSD.

I tried contacting Dell but they gave me the run around on the phone and I wasn't able to get help there. I tried finding the part myself online, but mistakenly ordered the wrong thing (I ordered a part for the 17x R1, instead of the 17 R1 or something like that and it doesn't connect at the right angle.)

The only place I found listing it online is out of stock https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=23476

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Or if the part isn't out there would it be possible that a part from a different model would work?

    Thanks for your time.
