 Hi this is my first ssd and i dont know how to test it,or what the numbers mean.On the box it shows 525 read and 480 write, but i cant reach such result on any bench. And to the point is this result good for this ssd or compare to other sata 3 ssd. This is the result from all bench that i heard
Test system is xps 17 cpu 2720;gpu 555;4 gb ram;second hdd is 500 gb and has only 5 gb free if it is important and ssd has 22 from 120 gb free.
pcmark07- NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2720QM Processor,Dell Inc. 0XN71K score: 4192 PCMarks

Those results look fine to me. The 4K reads look a little low for a Sandforce sata 3 SSD, The ones i've seen so far have been getting 30-35 MB/s on CrystalDiskMark, on the other hand my Intel 510 gets like 12 MB/s and is still plenty fast so probably not a problem. There's a few SSD optimization guides around if you want to try and squeeze a bit more performance from it though.

If i'm reading your Atto results right then you got around 555 read and 505 write on the larger test sizes, which actually beats what was written on your box.

All in all it looks good. Enjoy your new SSD and welcome to the club. :D

Atto is the only thing that gets the "advertised speeds" on Sandforce drives, owing to the compressibility of it's data. AS SSD and CDM give a better idea of real-world performance imo.

WOW man you 4k write is twice as fast as mine.I get 44 you get 95  .Oder result is 10-15% higher, but i think this is because my ssd is full your is empty. But twice as fast.Something is wrong.Did you change or twiking something in your laptop.

    Hey Guys
Why ATTO always shows nice and better (write) results than other benchmarks software?
Those AS SSD and Crystal Disk Mark are showing so much less write.
    why is like that?
I always hated AS SSD 'cos it always shows least write and 4k score

The latest version is 10.6 - see if it is compatible with your system.

I don't do benchmarks, but with IRST 10.6 I have a much more responsive system (regardless of what the benchmarks say).

    Good luck.

It's because the game prevents your CPU from going into power saving mode.
