Does anyone know if you can upgrade the wifi card on this model as I'd quite like draft n compatibility but I really don't want to pay £400 just for this privelege (the next model up)?

Also does anyone know if the components are compatible with linux?

I think you might have to use an HP branded wifi card. I don't know if they still do it, but every HP I've used has needed such a thing. I don't know if there are any such cards with good Linux support either...

Oh yes... i almost forgot

HP uses BIOS Whitelisting... so it will only allow WiFi cards to work that are authorized to. So make sure you get one that is authorized. HP doesnt brand them, you can use whatever brand (IF its authorized). HP doesnt "make" or re-brand Wifi cards. ;)

...although i have personally put an authorized card from a dv9000 into another dv9000, and it didnt work... so, HP really fails here. I guess its just a matter of luck
