Can anybody tell me if a HP Elitebook 8560w has SATA III onboard. It is using the Intel QM67 Chipset that has SATA III, but several sites report that HP is not using SATA III. I want to add an SSD to that type of computer and would like to know for sure if a SATA III SSD will be used at full speed.

SATA port 0, which is almost always the primary storage port, should be SATA III. The ODD SATA port is debatable, but it's possible.

I've not seen a single 6-series Intel based notebook that isn't capable of SATA III on the SATA-0 port... unless HP is intentionally limiting it's speed through firmware or BIOS.

EDIT: Just checked and it's definitely SATA III capable. :)
