Ok, does anyone know of any companies putting out either an internal or external HD-DVD drive for notebooks or PC. I just saw that Serenity was out in HD-DVD and would give nearly anything to watch it, including four fingers, three toes and a kidney, the rest i may need.

You should visit Toshiba's website. They are the developers of the HD-DVD, so they should be able to tell you who manufactures them for you and maybe where you can buy it. As far as I know, only Toshiba notebooks will have an internal HD-DVD anytime soon.
