My question is in general, I repair laptops. Whenever I have problems with screen equivalents. seems strange to me that the distributors of screens look one by one, their connections. The electronic components are always manuals with all its features. When I buy a screen is a top secret distributor, sent me a compatible and is always good. Where you can see the connections?. Only indicated measures, brightness .....
For example: HP Compaq nc6400 Series, as a distributor of Singapore, he answered:
    - AU Optronics B141PW01 V.1
    - Quanta QD14TL03 Rev: 03
    - Chi Mei N141C3-L01 Rev.C1
    - Samsung L04 LTN141WD
    As he knows this?

Match up the size and backlight type (CCFL or LED), that's pretty much all there is to it. Worked for me.
