I was told that Glossy screen is a huge strain for the eyes if u use it for over 3-4 hrs at a strech while matte screen does not harm your eyes.
Is this a truth or myth?
What screen whould i opt for in my laptop?

    Hi,
I think thats very much a personal choice, i have a desktop with a matte screen and a laptop with a glossy scree, and i dont have any problems with either.

If i were you i would go to a PC store near you and just hae a look at the laptops and decide for yourself which one you prefer - matte or glossy.

(Mind you, you shouldnt really be using a screen constantly without break for over 4 hours, otherwise it will strain your eyes.)

Matte is easier on the eyes. However if you mainly use your laptop for multimedia stuff like games and movies glossy will be better. :)
