Thanks to people who helped me with my questions, I finally decided to get Sager NP8690 and ordered it.
I was content with my decision until I read this post about Geforce 300 series. Apparently, it is going to come out very soon.
Do you guys think if it comes out, GeForce GTX 280M will be outdated?
I don't think so but if it does, I might feel like I was ripped off a little bit...
Also, do you guys think Sager np8690 will be compatible for the new 300 series?

Dont expect Nvidia to release Fermi based notebook cards that fast.
Maybe you will see desktop cards Q1 2010.

ATI will launch the ATI Mobility HD 5000 cards in January, but thanks to a certain company for failing producing enough to meet the demand.

Don't know about compatibility, but 280M for sure won't be outdated. And seems like Fermi is not that good. Hopefully this will not be the case but...

If you can wait, wait. Else just get it now and enjoy it.

The 280M card is great and will not get outdated for another 1-2 years... although your not going to be able to play directx 11 games... but that's no great loss since you'll have PhysX...
