Can someone help me with a Monitor issue on my Acer Predator XB271hu?

I turned on my PC this morning and the desktop no longer reaches the edge of the screen. There's a black border on top and to the sides that wasn't there yesterday. I didn't change any settings.

I reset my monitor to factory defaults. No change.

I installed new Nvidia drivers for my 980 and did a clean install. Nothing.

Went into the Control Panel and tried to adjust the screen size but it's at maximum width and height and won't let me expand further.

WTF is happening and how can I fix it?

Update: OK, so my PS4 which is plugged into my monitor is having the same issue. Must be a problem with the display and not the PC setup.

What cable(s) are you using to connect your PC and PS4? HDMI, DisplayPort, etc?

I would suspect it is the cable.. Try a different one first otherwise there is an issue with the monitor!

G-Sync only works over DisplayPort. The XB271HU has DP and HDMI connectors, the latter of which would be used to connect the PS4. If the issue is persisting over both inputs, then that would rule out the cables. The display itself is what's defective.

Makes sense, so yes, it is a monitor issue then!
