    Hello,

I am not very computer savvy and I have a Fujitsu T2010 that I bought a while back. It's very useful for my needs, but it is starting to become a little slow, and I want to put windows 7 on it anyway. Right now it has 2GB of RAM, but I want to upgrade it to 4GB, and maybe get a few more years out of the laptop.

I am not sure which type of RAM to get? Would this work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146849

The ram you linked to would work, but I don't think it would do you any good to get 667mhz memory--your motherboard would probably clock it down to 533. Any PC2-4200 ram ought to work though.

    Thanks.

Should I get two of these?

Or should I get a matched set?

I think a matched set just means two identical (same speed, capacity, quality, brand) sticks, so if you get two of those you will be getting a matched set.

And yes, that memory looks just fine--HyperX is supposed to be better quality stuff.

A matched set btw doesn't really matter. It will have a negligible effect on system performance.
