From 667Mhz to 800Mhz, how much performance increase can be expected in applications ?

I wouldn't say the increase in speed is incredible. If you've got RAM running at 667Mhz, I doubt you'd see an increase at all, but nevertheless, the difference may show in benchmarks, with data being channeled to the Northbridge at a faster rate.
