Hello. Just wondering if is there any external sound card that would meet my expectations.
I have DENON AHD2000 headphones and i would like to get the full advantage of having those semi pro headphones.

Do you generally recomend X-FI external sound cards ?
I really want something without any glitches with drivers. or win7 drivers support, and x-fi owners are complaining about it.

    So maybe FiiO 7 ?
Or asus Xonar external notebook sound card?

    Or Creative audigy 2NX ?

Wich one is the best for both sound and price ?

It may be expensive but if so i want it to perform as well

Thanks in advance for help :)

I ended up paying about $85 for FiiO 7 but it's worth it: it's got the TI PCM2706 as a USB receiver, Wolfson WM8740 as a DAC, AD8692 and TI 6130A as pre and power amp. It's the good stuff, well worth the money and expect nothing but quality. Straight plug and play no drivers required. It'll say Speakers (USB) in windows 7.

I'm using the FiiO E7 with Allen and Heath XD-40 headphones with 40 mm drivers and they're awesome, the headphones vibrate onto your ears and there's still no distorsion.
