After several problems ordering a Gateway NX860XL i have the opportunity to wait till the end of the month and get the Gateway NX870XL.

The sales dept. told me the 860 will be called the NX870XL because of the addition of the Merom chip. Which chip? Im not sure on the #'s, but im getting the best one they will be offering

Can anyone speculate on what (if any) other changes will be made to the existing system because of the chip upgrade?

Any advise on what else i could ask for to be put into this system? im looking to get the most power, speed, etc....

It could very well just be the chip and a different bios, but other than that we have no way of telling what Gateway will do with their laptops...unless their ceo/manager(s) browse these forums and they could let u in on the secrets.
