What does it mean by Dual layer or Double layer?
Does it mean that a regular 2.4 gb DVD can fit 4.8 gb now?
Some information on this would be great
    Thank you

When you look back of the regular CD/DVD is blank, but dual layer dvd, the front and back is blank, so you can fit up to 8.5 GB. Regular DVD is 4.7 GB.

Regular DVDs are often called DVD-5's and Dual layer DVDs DVD-9's in burning programs. If you want to burn a dual layer DVD, you will have to select that option in the burning program.
