This has been bothering me for months. I got it working a couple times, but it was completely random. Currently I downloaded the latest sound drivers I could find but still no input or output at all when I plug my electric guitar into the mic jack.

    I'm also using ASIO4ALL.

    Any help would be great,
    Thanks.

Stupid question, but are you connecting through an amp? OR using software "amplification"?

I'm connecting straight to the laptop from the guitar, using the software 'amplification'
