Hi, my WUXGA 15.4" panel was getting dimmer and dimmer and since I had another 15.4" panel at hand I decided to swap the CCFLs and at the only thing that changed is that the screen when from warm color to cold( the colors were kinda orange before now they are blueish, but that did not do anything for the brightness... What should be my next move? Do you think I should swap the whole reflective assembly too?

If you didn't swap the inverters, that might be the problem?

The inverter worked fine when I was using the wxga panel before swapping the lamps. A full brightness it was blindingly bright. So I'm pretty confused. The wxga is glossy while the wuxga is matte. Do you think the matte treatment might have something to do with the brightness problem?

P.S: Those panels are a pain in the A. to disassemble.

I'm not sure, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility that each different CCFL has a matched inverter.

Change them in pairs when possible.

They don't it's just a neon bulb. They all have the same basic power requirement...
