the 7900 gtx or the 7900gt oc will be better then the 7800gtx in a notebook

    EDIT:

i think you should get the x1950XTX because it is even more powerful then the 7900gtx and it sure as hell looks **** good

if possible, i would wait for the 7950gtx2, but that's in the $700 price range, the x1950xtx is still 450-500 range

isn't the 7900gtx out of your budget range?

even a 7800 gtx desktop card will b more powerful than ur notebook card as notebook cards hav to worry alot about heat they run slower abelit steadily becomng almost as good as their notebook equilvalents. If u want something as good as ur notebook get a geforce 7800gtx or radeon x1800 card or better and they will be better than ur notebook. Just not by a ton.

the x1950xtx will have the most bang for buck

even better then the 7950gx2 value wise

x1950 is ONLY $449!!!! but i don't know ab0ut tax and stuff but that's **** cheap for such a powerful gpu

way better then to buy a 7950gx2 which will set you back ~$1000
