So yea...is there any computer manufacturer other than Clevo/Sager (w/ their NP9262) that produces DTR Notebooks w/ Desktop CPUs?

I see...they only support one HDD though and only up to the X6800 processor...nevertheless at least there is some kind of competition out there for the NP9262.

The OCZ Whitebook (Arima W840), while it doesn't support desktop CPUs, it is a good competitor to the NP926x, and in some ways better. It support Penryn Mobile Quad Core, ATI Crossfire, and up to 8GB DDR3 RAM. Also has a backlit keyboard.

the clevo d900t and d900k also have desktop processors. The d900k is comparable to the C90S, but neither support quad core cpu power.

To my knowledge their are not any other recent systems which use desktop processors.

Clevo has been the main driving force for heavy hitting notebook DTRs since the Pentium days.

Its very hard to go directly against such a high-end and high-experienced ODM (original design manufacturer) like Clevo.

Stick to the D901C. C90s had a i945 chipset, and QC support was added in the i965. So, C90s is also limited to < 4GB RAM.
