hi all, i would like to ask you a question regarding the LCD display of my friends laptop which is a Dell vostro 1700. His screen had to be changed because it fell for him and got damaged. When i dismantled the LCD there was written the model number LTN170X2-L03 (samsung) so i searched on ebay and found one with the same model number. When the screen got delivered to me it had a different model number which is B170PW06 V2.

My search results indicates that both screen are WXGA (1440 X 900 PIXELS ) but i don't want to cause any damage to the laptop or the new screen
