    I have a laptop. One day it worked, the next it didn't.
    It does have a tear in the charger, but the charger still does work.
    The battery works but only holds a charge for a couple mins.
    I turn it on and it beeps twice and does not display anything. The fans will kick on, but that's all.

    If it has an Nvidia graphics card, that's probably the culprit...
