Got my E1505 yesterday, couple of questions regrading the battery,
    1. how long is the battery life (usually)?
    2. would the battery last longer if I remove the battery when the power is plugged in?

    thanks.

    1. little less than 3 hours (6 cell). little less than 5 hours (9 cell).
    2. no. Lithium Ion batteries don't deteriorate because of usage and recharging. they do however deteriorate no matter what. its basically the same thing when you leave it in as when its out. don't buy a spare battery either since that will degrade with time too. (unless you want to buy it in case you have a long road trip and you plan on changing batteries when the other dies. that would actually be useful).

ps. theres also battery control options in the property tabs. look around and experiment with the settings. you can really make it last longer than 3/5 if you tried
