This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi all, I was wondering if windows VISTA ULTIMATE will be better than XP pro since it is selling at the University for like $40. Just thought it was time for an upgrade. Also, the battery on my laptop is pretty much dead (I believe). I think it's time for a new one, and would like to get the 12-Cell one. It is for an hp DV2000. Where would be the best place to get this? I know prices aren't allowed in here, so just PM me if you know of a good deal. Thanx for the help, hope I can get some replies...
