I have onboard Sigmatel Highdefinition Audio Codec. I had got a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy MB CD when I bought my laptop. It was working fine. I just reinstalled my Win 7 with all the audio and other drivers. Now, I also reinstalled my creative software but it says " There are no supported audio device available". Any Help on this please? Also one more question. I am seeing a new adaptor which I don't know about. What is terredo tunneling pseudo interface?

    Thanks

Did you buy chance have this stuff installed on vista, then upgraded to windows 7 WITHOUT reformatting? Cause if this is the case, the creative software may have worked in vista, then when you did a clean install of windows 7, it is incompatible. I don't know... sounds weird.

IMO creative make great products... but their software and drivers are VERY MUCH left to be desired.

I did a clean installation. It says that I dont have a supported audio device. Infact it was running well. Also can anyone tell me what is terredo tunneling pseudo interface? I can see it under my network adaptors.

Googling shows an answer for your network thing. Have you called dell about the audio problem?

I thought you said the laptop came with windows 7, under which everything was working fine? If not, you might ask creative if it supports windows 7.

one last clear up. You had the creative software working in vista. When you upgraded/did a clean install of win 7, the creative software won't work?

Creative are usually slow comming out with drivers, and usually drop support on a lot of their stuff. You will be lucky if they even plan to release any.

This really sucks, I have the same problem... you would think Dell or Creative would do SOMETHING about it....

I think this problem can only be solved if there is a new installation from Creative or a Win 7 drivers for our soundcard. Why don't you also email creative so will I.
