    What do I need to connect an Inspiron 1720 to HDTV?

    And can I connect my XBOX and XBOX 360 to the Laptop?

    Depends what connection your HDTV has. If you want to connect a console, you need a TV tuner.

    it has when selecting hrough the options Scart1/2 ...PC....and about 4 other options. At the back there is a port which says PC.

    What kind of physical port is it? DVI? HDMI? VGA?
