I'm planing on getting a w110er however the shop where i'm planning to purchase it doesn't offer the killer 1102 card I want pre-configured.

I'm planning to get the 1102 from this ebay:

    Atheros AR9380 HB112 Half Size Minipci-express 450 Mbps 802.11N HP # 630435-001 | eBay

The Atheros AR9380 is basically the same as the killer 1102 right? And half height is what is should be looking for? Are there any shops that ship to the UK that offer the 1103?

I'm already planning on upgrading the ram and hdd inside of the laptop, my question is how easy is it to upgrade the pci-e wifi card?

    Thanks alot!

I'll post photos, with that wifi card I was able to add an additional antenna to my W110er by coiling it in the Drive bay to allow triple band support.

I also recommend using modded Atheros drivers since the stock ones cause massive latency spikes. Plus the modded ones add lots of awesome extra options that would shame the Intel counterpart. PM me when you're ready.

Shouldn't that third antenna run up the screen and not coiled to be effective?

HP wifi cards are different and cannot be used on other brand laptops. Please make sure Clevo units can accept HP wifi cards (which I don't think so) if you are buying one.

It is easy to upgrade anything on the 110ER as it has a one piece bottom access cover.

On the ebay item page it states the following compatibility info:

The item if from a German ebay seller. Can I be confident from the above that it will be compatible with the Clevo w110er?

Just so you know the Killer software is not going to work on generic card.

and the link is a 1103, the 1102 is half the price i believe.

A real 1102 cost as much as a generic 1103.

edit: the software may work if you get it to install.

I tried placing the HP wifi card in an Acer and a LG notebook. The result was that the device cannot start (Code 10) with drivers.

Yes it is but my point is that you might as well remove it because it likely isn't helping with reception at all.
