Should the memory that circuit city sells (2700 Kingston valuebrand) work in my dell 700m. They have a good deal on it and I thought I could save some money if so.

    Thanks,

    Scott

oooh...Dells are picky when it comes to Ram, you can always buy it, try it, and return it if it doesn't work.

    X6000 / P-4 3.2GHz (540) / 2gigs PC2 4200 (533MHz) DDR2 Ram / 7200RPM 60 gig HHD / 8x DVD Burner and the Brightview!

Thanks for the reply, I heard that about Dell also, so I'll probably just order the Dell spec mem from Kingston (not the value brand). It cost about $25-30 more but it may be worth it.
