    Can someone just drop a post if this spec is decent for good gaming. Playing witcher 2 skyrim etc.
    1920x1080
    8 gig 1333 ram
    Gtx 2gig 580m
    2760qm quad core 2.4 ghz

    I don't think the word "with ease" ever applies,but it's a very good configuration for a laptop,and should have no problems playing most games at high settings. Just don't expect to always be able to max out AA.

    You're missing one critical component of "is it good or not" - the price. Those are good specs, but not if you're paying too much.

    You'll pretty much max out those two games @ 1080p...you'll max witcher2 except no uber sampling, skyrim will be maxxed on ultra preset @ 4xaa 16af
