Some laptop says they have 32mb of dedicated memory for video card.

    NVIDIA GeForce? 420 Go with 32MB DDR (dedicated)<hr height='1' noshade id='quote'></font id='quote'></blockquote id='quote'>

    Here's the specs

Can I alocate more memory through sharing some of the ram's memory? If I have 512mb of ram, I don't mind sharing another 32mb to the graphics card if that's possible. Thanks in advance.

If I can't share more ram, can I change out the video card?

    No, and No.

    First PC = Vic-20, 8" 128KB Home-Brew Floppy Drive ... Current Rig = eMachines m6805 ... Quantum Leap?

    1. You can't reallocate system memory when the videcard has its own (dedicated) memory.

    2. Unless you're looking at a laptop like the new Alienwares or the Dell XPS, the videocard is soldered onto the motherboard. There's no way to replace it.

Most video cards are removeable, but you can only upgrade them if there is a better card for the same notebook.
