I have a wireless Logitech keyboard that comes with a tiny USB dongle

i want to buy this Microsoft Arc wireless keyboard off ebay but it doesnt have the usb dongle.

I was wondering as these tiy USB dongles look the same, could the one i got with the wireless Logitech keyboard work with a Microsoft Arc keyboard?

or does it need to be the specific Microsoft dongle

    thanks

It has to be the Microsoft dongle.

    Call Microsoft Support: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/disclaimer_phone_number_hardware

They may be able to provide a replacement but you will probably need the keyboard first and provide serial number or product ID or whatever number it is they use to track it. It might cost $10 or something who knows.
