    I wanna upgrade processor for my laptop VAIO VGN-FZ150E, my existing processor is Intel Centrio Duo...
    Can I upgrade it to processor Quad Core for my laptop?

    Best guess is no. While there are Core 2 Quad processors, they run at a faster bus speed than your existing processor and also require extra cooling. If you're an engineering student looking to try a FSB & cooling mod, you might be able to get it to work. But otherwise, you'd be better off buying a new system for a more powerful processor.

    Agreed, Core 2 Quad won't work in the FZ series.. In the AW one, it works... Best off getting a new laptop tbh..

    The best you can put in there is a T9500(X9000), although the former is much cheaper/to be preferred. If you want to get something out of your rig, you have to additionally throw in a cheap SSD and 4GB of RAM. Otherwise a CPU Upgrade alone makes no sense.

    This will come roundabout 80-90$ (second Hand/ebay). If you want to spend that amount: Go for it! You will get a nice Performance boost! ;)
