I was just wondering if it would be worth upgrading my cpu from an intel i7 2760qm to an i7 2920xm. My buddy has one he said he'd sell me both are the same ghz it looks like and turbo puts them at the same too so i didn't know if it would be worth the money.

Just for additional info. I have 2 alienware laptops. 1 is a m14x the other an m17x. I was planning on swapping the faster processor (2760qm) from the 14 to the 17 anyway (which has a 2670qm). I was going to do this because of the faster speed and also because the 2670 doesn't support 1600mhz ram (which i have 24gb of in the 17) So this would actually save me the trouble of removing and installing 2 different ones.
