Hi i'm just wondering if there is significant jump in processing power between a 2.0Ghz vs 2.13Ghz CORE DUO processor. Price aside...

Not really, the jump in processing power is just a little more speed. Just you pay a price premium for the 'fastest' one available at the moment.

I believe either late June or July, Intel will be releasing the T2700. That one will retail for somewhere in the $600 range.

No. The only difference is the 133Mhz increase in clock speeds, and that is not significant by any means. Everything else between the T2500 (2.0Ghz Core Duo) and th T2600 (2.13Ghz Core Duo) are exactly identical.

An improvement of 5% ONLY when running intensive applications, because both processors clock down to the same speed when idle, and you won't be hitting that max speed too often in normal daily usage.

After the price cuts the 2.0GHz is the new sweet spot, most GHz/$
