Which would run better with Vista on a Dell Vostro?

    C2D 1.6 ghz w/ 2 gigs of RAM

    or C2D 1.8 ghz w/ 1 gig of RAM

Laptop will be used primarily for homwork, browsing, and light gaming (cs, wc3, the older games)

The difference in processor clock speed will be negligible...but you will DEFINITELY feel the difference in RAM.
