    Hi

I am trying to figure out where the best place to purchase the accessories for a barebones notebook which would include

    Harddrive
    CD-ROM
    Wireless Adapter
    Memory
    CPU

I also am curious... exactly what CPU is required for notebooks and is there a palce to purchase hard drives with windows or another OS preloaded?

www.newegg.com is a good place to buy things if you're in America; some barebones include various components--check out MSI. I don't think you'll be able to buy a HD with Windows preinstalled--if that's something that scares you you might not be the best candidate for a barebones. ;)

I'm going to move this to hardware...this is the wrong forum.

    Cheers.

I second newegg, and if your comfortable with ebay, you can find some great deals there. As for the processor, that depends on the motherboard and chipset that is installed in the barebones. You should be able to get that info from the reseller.

I would never buy computer components anywhere else but Newegg.com

They consistently have the lowest prices compared to name brand retailers (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.)
