I have a Dell Studio 1555 with a 6-cell battery. Lately, after I run the battery down during class and take it home to charge like usual, it stops charging when it hits 91%, regardless of how low it is when I plug it in. My 9 cell battery does not do this.

It will charge like normal right until then, but as soon as it hits 91%, the battery icon stops moving, and says "91% available (plugged in, not charging)". Any ideas as to why this might be happening, and how to fix it?

It's a lithium ion battery; those aren't supposed to require calibration. And either way, I'd prefer a solution that doesn't involve running this thing down to zero, if possible. :p
