I've been looking at giving my ultra-portable laptop a bit more grunt in the graphics department and I've looked into the Asus XG Station which seems ideal. The only problem is, I can't see any information detailing a release date or expected price point. Has anyone heard further information on this product?

I've understood that Asus only sells the XG station as an OEM product along with some of their new models. (though i haven't seen it for sale at all) We can just hope that they eventually release it for free market.

Supposed pricing for the Asus XG station was said to be around $400 USD and comes bundled with an Nvidia 7900GS. It should be out before year's end, but I can't gaurentee that.

I am shure though that it will be released at $399 and come with a 7900gs, since that seems like a fair price point.
