    Hi, I have two questions:

    1)Is it possible to buy a new keyboard for my W3V?
    and 2)Is it possible to buy a new W3V chassis? like just the top plastic thing where the hands rest - because I have scratches all over mine, here are some pix of it:

    As you can see I had to cover up the big ass scratch with an ugly sticker :(

    If someone knows a store where I can buy these parts please don't hesitate to reply! :)

    Thanks in advance.

    You really need to be careful with your W3V... :p
    I'd try private messaging or e-mailing Justin at PROportable for information;

    well, I wanted to remove those retarded stickers (Centrino & Designed for Windows), so I did - turns out that the stickers leave a nasty layer of glue behind, so I took some rubbing alcohol and some tissue paper started rubbing and after 5-6 strokes the paint started comming off :(. Then I thought I'd repaint it myself so I took 1000 gritt sand paper and started sanding the scratched area, but then I kind of gave up, it turns out that the W3V has like 500 layers of paint so it's a pain to sand it all down, so eventually I gave up lol. Had to settle for this fugly sticker :/ but hey, the W3V is an awesome machine, no complaints at all, except I wish they wouldn't put those stupid stickers on these beutiful machines :*(

    You think they actually sell spare notebook parts like a whole plastic cover thingy (my scratched area)? If so that's absolutley awesome :D I'll get in touch with em!

    Justin had a few suggestions as well as others how to remove the glue from the stickers..

    I think one was to use a hair dryer, heat up the sticker and it'll easily be removed and then just wipe off the glue..

    my best success has come from using WD-40 to spray around the edges of the sticker...then use a sharp edge to "wedge" the sticker off. Works like a charm every time...also useful for taking off sticker glue left behind.

    Shouldn't be too expensive, maybe $20-$40? I don't know, you'll have to ask Justin or Eddie.

    the z63a keyboard should be the exact same thing..
