    Asus G75 Ssd?

    hey so my question is can you put two ssd on the Asus G75 aand does taking out hdd and adding ssd have any consequence on storage?
    Also I saw video and now know the amazing difference but have no idea what to buy? Any suggestion?

    Yes you can put in two 2.5 " SSD's. The base G75 came with dual 750 GB HDD's so I would recommend replacing the one that has windows installed with an SSD if you want quicker boot times and less storage (unless you want to spend over $600 for Crucial M500 that has 960 GB).
    There are many posts here about brands, but the consensus seems to be Samsung, Crucial, and Intel brands in no particular order.
    Just remember the downside to SSD's, if they fail you don't get warnings about bad sectors as conventional hard drives provide so backup your data on a regular basis.

    Plextor SSDs are also a decent option, since they're basically similar to the Crucial SSDs in terms of controllers and NAND. But yes, Crucial, Samsung, and Intel are basically the Big Three in the SSD world (when accounting for reliability as well as other factors).
