First off let me say thank you for taking the time to read this post.

I have an Asus G50v Laptop that the motherboard recently died in. I know it's and old computer but i like it! I have been unable to find a replacement motherboard for it, mainly because I have no idea what model number my current motherboard is. I also can not find any information on if the motherboards out of other models such as G50vt will work in my current G50V and help is greatly appreciated, I now open the floor to your comments!

There's a handful on eBay starting at $85... it looks like g50vt boards should work too.

Thank you for your reply Commander, I contacted a few of the people selling those boards on ebay and have determined that mine G50v is the A1 which apparently has a rare motherboard so i must use the exact board that i have currently, which makes it a little tougher to find one. So i will have to keep looking.
